Laura Miller is the founder and CEO of NextGen Ethics, where she works to further ethical AI innovation. She is also the Director of Ethics at Shadowing AI and a respected philosophy instructor at Webster University. Miller sits on several tech advisory boards, including the Open Voice Network, supported by the Linux Foundation, and her contributions to tech ethics have earned her recognition by NASA. She has also received a Knights of Columbus award for her humanitarian efforts, and her ethnographic research was featured in The New York Times, Lens Magazine. She presents nationally and internationally on ethical issues of AI and earned her BA and MA in Philosophy, focusing on applied ethics, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
